Which Property am I Buying, Exactly?
The survey provided by the seller, seemed a bit off, so we started this experiment to try and get comfortable with what I am buying and make sure the conveyance deed was accurate. After meeting the original survey crew I decided that we should check things out very closely.

Where exactly is the property line.
Overview:
It is a common problem when purchasing property that has been in a single family for a long time, to have incomplete, inaccurate, or non-sensical surveys describing the property.
Current Result Summary:
The original survey from the seller was inadequate in that it included an exclusion of 10 acres somewhere within the boundaries described. Neither the title company, the seller or the closing agent saw any problem. We forced them to get a new survey.
