Large-Scale Microclimate Test
Let's repeat the experiment on 10x scale and see how it works in a place we need it.

Core Question:
Can we improve the establishment of plants along the shoreline of the lake using the microclimate method.
Overview:
Using a 100' x 20' 4 mil plastic sheet can we improve the germination and establishment of the grass along the shoreline.
Current Result Summary:
Mixed Results. We had some success on the west bank but very little success on the east bank. We believe primarily that the poor results were due to increasing temperatures and continued drought conditions. The shaded west bank had about 40% success rate vs. about 10% on the east bank.
